This social determinants of health curriculum provide a broad overview of issues of health equity affecting our patients.

The curriculum of social determinants of health consists of three modules (social determinants of health, health disparities and social justice). This curriculum teaches residents how to identify and address these issues that contribute to health disparities. The small group sessions foster peer learning and discussion, and presentations by our social workers provide a unique perspective on interprofessional collaborations to address these issues and to advocate for our patients and their communities.
